In every organisation, there are moments that quietly show what the company truly
stands for. For us at SharonPly, one such moment unfolded recently.
Back in 2005, Shri. Vishnu Khemani, our Managing Director, appointed Mr. Bharat
Bhadur as his driver. Over the years, Mr. Bharat became a familiar face to many of
us – always calm, dependable, and deeply loyal.
In 2016, he fell seriously ill. A sudden spike in his blood pressure led to a
difficult diagnosis: kidney failure. From then on, Mr. Bharat had to undergo regular
dialysis, twice a week.
Entire expenses for his treatment and the recurring costs of dialysis is being borne
by the company.
While continuing treatment, he also registered for a donor match, hoping for a
transplant. But year after year, no suitable donor was found.
Last week, he got a call from the hospital that he may get a donor anytime and to be
ready. He underwent many expensive tests. On 12.06.25 he was informed to come to the
hospital. The moment our MD was informed, he ensured that Mr. Bharat was rushed to
MIOT Hospital, where immediate medical attention was given.
And then, finally, on 12th June 2025, a donor kidney became available. The transplant
was successfully performed on 13th June. Today, Mr. Bharat is recovering well, has
been moved out of the ICU, and is expected to be discharged soon.
To make sure he has everything he needs during this phase, we have appointed Mr.
Nanda Kumar, one of our SharonPly staff members, to support him during recovery.
This is not just about medical support financially and morally. It is about being
there when it matters most.
Mr. Bharat has been a part of SharonPly for nearly 20 years. And when life challenged
him, we stood by him – not because it was expected, but because it was the right
thing to do.
At SharonPly, we take pride in our work. But we take greater pride in our people.
Because in the end, it is not just about what we build – it is about who we build it
with.
